Unemployment

Unemployment is measured as the share of the labor force that is without a job and looking for one. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics publishes the national rate each month in the Employment Situation report, and FloridaCommerce publishes the figures for Florida, its metropolitan areas and its counties, produced in cooperation with the bureau.
